power point picture insertion

Please help I'm going crazy! No matter what I do, when I try to insert a
picture in a slide, it lays over top of the text I've written. I cannot get
the text to wrap around the picture. I tried putting the picture in its own
text box, but then the two boxes won't wrap aorund each other either. I am
more familiar with frontpage and publisher and don't know how to do this in
power point. Thank you!
 
After inserting a picture, left-click on it, go to "Order" and click "Send to
Back" or "Send Backward."
