power point not responding

Meirav

I'm working on a presentation for a seminary I need to do and my powerpoint
presentation keeps getting stuck as 'not responding' a couple of minutes into
working on it, and then loses the information of the last thing I saved in
it. I tried naming the file in english, doesn't work. I tried copying the
slides to a new presentation, which gave me a couple of extra minutes to work
but that too got stuck.
It's your simple average presentation; text+pictures, nothing heavy, no
hyperlinks, no notes, nothing. I've worked on these kind of presentations on
my powerpoint 2003 (which is what I have now) and it didn't happen.
Could it be acting up because of my Vista, because of one of the pictures in
the presentation? I have no idea...help?

It could be any of a number of things. I suspect that the presentation
has gotten corrupted somehow. I would try round tripping as discussed in
this article:

HTML "Round-tripping" to repair corruption
