Power Point 2003 Templates

I created my own template. First creating out of my slide a emf file. After
that importing through Slide Master Background the picture and saving the
whole thing as a pot file. Then I copied the pot file into Power Point
Templates and "My" Templates with the result that they are showing up like
the regular ones.

Everything was fine so far until I wanted to print my presentation. The
Design doesn't show in the print preview and doesn't show on the print out.
What do I have to do, or what did I wrong in order to create my own template.

When you save your .POT file PowerPoint automatically should have pointed to
the correct folder for saving without you having to copy it. When using the
Print Preview what do you see? When you print, what prints?

Could you have a print setting default in Tools> Options > print that
prevents it showing eg pure black and white?

I can see all the text I entered but the background is white. So the design
template is only showing on the screen and in the presentation mode but not

If you would like to send me your .pot file, I'd be more than happy to have
a look at it. You can send it to (e-mail address removed) making sure that the
subject reflects the problem, so I'll know what it is.

No unfortunately this wasn't the reason.
