Power off one drive only?

I have Win XP Pro and would like to have my PC spin down only ONE
of my drives (its the one I rarely use and that makes the most noise
when its spinning). Problem is, in Power Options, I can only see an
option to "turn off hard disk(S)", not "hard disK"! Is this another example
of flawed design in Windows, or is there some workaround way to tell
Windows I just want to power down one of my drives?

I don't even know of a third party tool which will enable you to shut the
power off on one particular drive. Do you have the indexing service running?
What's running on that drive that you can disable? I really can't think of a
tweak or a utility which will do what you're asking.
