I'm not in front of my XP computer right now, so I can't point you to the
specific place you need to go, but here it is in a general way: Open Device
Manager and then open the properties sheet for your keyboard. On one of the
tabs you can 'allow this device to bring the computer out of standby'. Your
mouse can also do this, if you are using one.
