Potential Bug when opening certain files.

I have noticed that when opening script / code files
(.JS, .CS, .VB) using right click, open with, Notepad (or
other applications), for the first time, that we get
given a MS Antispyware alert (An Unknown Script File
Attempting to Run Requires Approval). On approving the
file is not opened by the application chosen in 'Open
with' but the default application assigned for the file
type. Subsequent attempts don't have this issue if you
ensure the 'Remember this action' checkbox is checked.

This is particularly annoying when you try to open a VB
or CS file in notepad and end up seeing Visual Studio
start-up.

FYI:

Microsoft AntiSpyware Version: 1.0.501
This version expires on: 31/07/2005
Current User: suneel
Spyware Definition Version: 5683 (28/01/2005 11:56:20)

Regards,

Suneel.

Thanks very much for this report--this is an important issue and Microsoft
is aware of it and working on fixing it.
