I am running FP 2002 on XP Pro. I am trying to change webservers to one that
supports FP 2002 extensions, for one thing.

FP will not let me publish to the new site without FTPing. When I go to the
usual "publish web" the change button does not light up. I have changed the
destination domain (also changing domain names) to the new one, but it will
not let me upload to that site. Possible clue: When it flashes the password
box, in the header, where you cannot change it, is the old domain.

I managed to get it up once by FTPing, but that is a pain for frequent
updates and teaching others in the office to do it.

Suggestions?

Site is www.thinkBIGguy.com if you need it. (And tell me if you can't access
it -- had that problem as well but think-hope-pray it is fixed!)

The server at the link you provided does *not* have the FrontPage extensions
installed. If you have the web masters CPanel
you can install them your self. If not have your host install them for you.

When you publish, are you just clicking the "Publish Web" button on the
toolbar, or clicking "File | Publish Web...?" You should be able to change
everything via the File menu.

Another thing to check is if there are any entries for your site in My
Network Places. If there are, it may be caching connection details (login,
etc.). Shut down FrontPage, delete the entry, restart and try publishing to
the new location again.
