Posting questions on this site ... selecting discussion group

Am I missing something? Selecting the discussion group for posting questions
is much more difficult than it should be. I have to scan through the entire
list every time ... there appears to be no organization to the list ....

I assume you are using one of the convenient web interfaces to the
newsgroups and that your comments are aimed at that web interface. there
are many of these sites.

Please post your criticism to the web site that led you here. The folks on
the group itself are not in control of the heirarchy.

How are you getting to the list? Can you post a URL? We've been getting
tons of postings that have nothing to do with .Net programming, and I've
been wondering why. Maybe this is why.

That's interesting. I don't see why so many posts are being made to
microsoft.public.dotnet.general; it's not like it's highlighted or
something.

So what did your problem pertain to? Just figuring out what group to use? I
use Outlook Express and a newsreader service (you can use
news.microsoft.com if your ISP doesn't have one, or Google Groups), so I
can bring up the whole list and search it for keywords like DotNet or Basic
or Windows or Outlook, then pick the group that looks most likely.
