play many games and Apps made for XP or later without a patch for that game
or app which most App and Gaming companies will not or have not made the
patch for they products.

Please sign here the more we people that sign this were more then likely to

You need to post a website for this sort of thing. A newsgroup is not
effective because there is no way to keep the post from quickly disappearing
as new posts are added.

Use of punctuation and correct words would help your ignorant cause
(because Windows XP support is not disappearing just because sales are).
Mainstream support continues until 4/19/2009 which gives Microsoft to
address issues caused by their service pack 3 (the last one for WinXP).
Thereafter functionality changes will no longer be made to Windows XP
but security updates will continue until the end of extended support on
4/8/2014.

Your puny votes have no effect on Microsoft's choices regarding revenue.
You aren't a corporation buying hundreds of copies, or several
corporations buying thousands of copies. Thousands of single-copy
consumer votes won't have any effect on Microsoft moving forward to
develop new software and abandon the old stuff.

I bet it makes you feel better to have a crosswalk button you can keep
pushing although it isn't connected.

You (and most people) have no influence on MS since we get OS from system
providers - branded or local shop.

However, you do have influence on system providers as far as for their
revenues from your expenditures. And they have influence on MS because
that's how MS gets its major client OS revenues.

So the easiest way is to demand your system provider to provide only parts
that you wish to have (e.g. OS) or you will hold the purchase or change to
another one who will do it for you, and if they have enough demand from
customers, they will negotiate with their supplier (MS, in this case) to
change.

The bargaining power is based on a particular business relationship that
matters.
