Well, it never seems to go as smoothly as I'd hoped. After completing the
upgrade from 2000 Pro to XP Pro, my pc won't boot up. It starts, looks like
it's going to boot, and then there's a screen saying that Windows didn't
start correctly and I have the list of choices. Safe Mode, Safe Mode
w/networking, Safe Mode w/command prompt, Last known good configuration, or
start normally. I tried them each and none of them work. It just reboots and
presents that screen again. There is a blue screen that flashes for less than
a second if I choose "start normally". But it flashes so fast, I can't read
it. What a nightmare...
I'm creating the setup disks to see if that will help. If not, I'm stuck.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
