Post flash on the site ??

I've been asked to post a Flash Movie (swf) onto one of the sites (that I
put together). I'm pretty sure there's room for it.

I have no idea how to do this ... other than perhaps inserting a hyperlink
to the file and, of course, moving the file to the web folder (images).
Will it play in it's own window (I'm thinking it will)... will it prompt a
site visitor to install the flash player if it's not installed on their pc.
Is there anything else I need to consider.

So many questions ... sorry. I'm gonna try to hyperlink and see if that
works ... hopefully it doesn't melt anything (lol). Maybe it'll just fly
fine!

Dianah,

Just open the page you want to put the swf on in FP....then drag and
drop the file onto the page in the location you want it. )

I actually did get it to work and was able to stop it from looking.
However, now I have a different issue. Is it possible within Frontpage to
provide for stopping it from playing or to replay it. It's on its own page,
but I'd like to provide for this. ..... orrrr is this something that has to
be setup by the person who created the swf in the first place.

PS ... do you know what the option SWLiveConnect means - it's an option in
the dialogue box entitled "Movie in Flash format Properties.

No, FP doesn't provide the functionality. You provide this
Stop command in Flash.

Do you know if is it the same for "replay" as well or can that be done in
FP. I know that refreshing the site will replay it, but I can't expect
visitors to think of that. Diana
