Can you upgrade Windows XP Professional to Windows 2003
Server (standard edition) ?

A workstation operating system (Windows XP Pro) cannot be
upgraded to a server operating system (Windows 2003 Server).
Windows 2003 Server must be installed on a separate drive
or partition, or installed as a "clean install".

No, there is no supported path to upgrade from a client OS to a
server OS.
