Possible to get a new product key?

I have a copy of windows XP pro that I've lost the product key for. It is
not, nor has it ever been installed on a machine, so I can't use a key finder
to get the key. I do still have the Certificate of Authenticity label from
the box, but this was from the MS Company Store, and I guess those COA labels
don't have the product key on them. Is there any way to get a valid, genuine
product key? Or am I out of luck?

I think you're well and tryly out of luck. Start a product key
register now and record in it each and every key you have
and also every key you get when you buy a new product,
regardless of whether you install it or not.

Suggest you call/e-mail the Company store and explain the situation.
You would need your original purchase invoice. They may allow you to
return the product for replacement.
