Possible Issues with DST Knowledge Base article 914387

Hello,

Could anyone tell me if there are possible issues with Knowledge Base
article 914387 when applied to Windows 2000 servers? It's nerve racking to
mess with the registry on a production Windows 2000 server. Also, how much
would it be to obtain the patch from Microsoft? Would this be a safer
alternative? Could you please tell me about all the available options to
have Windows 2000 servers DST capable?

I used TZEdit on a 2000 terminal server. The console time is correct BUT a
lot of the users' sessions show the wrong time.

Since 2000 server is past its "life cycle," they only provided paid
support...MS has an "extended hotfix" support option...it costs $4,000.
