For our U.S. members, here is a link to an interesting article in regard to
possible changes to the copyright law. It was written by the general
counsel to the ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) and appears to
be a legitimate issue worth your time to investigate.

Still the issue of "orphan" images needs to be addressed. Take for
instance graduation and wedding photos. Rarely will those be
available 10 or 20 years later even if the photographer is still alive
and in business.
