possible Browser Helper Object

Hello,

A user here has a slight problem. When he goes to shut
down his computer, he receives a shut down dialog box
asking him to wait or to end the task of "Sample." I
cannot figure out what sample is. I have searched the
hdd for this, ran spybot and Adaware with updated
definitions, searched the registry for this, and I was
not able to find anything that is related to this. I am
now beginning to believe that this may be a browser
helper object. Has anyone dealt with this before? Does
anyone know how I could view what BHO's are installed?
Any help no matter how small is greatly appreciated.

I find that using a combination of HijackThis and AboutBuster is very
useful. You do need to know what you're doing, and please read the
instructions. One place you can get these programs is Major Geeks.
