AIM.EXE

Could someone tell me what AIM.EXE BHO Browser helper is? My grandson has AOL
instant messenger on my computer and I recently installed Webroots Spy
Sweeper which now pops up everytime he goes to sign on. It is wanting to know
if the AIM.EXE BHO should be allowed or not. I have told him to not allow it,
but I don't know if this is a necessary part of AIM. Could someone that knows
something about AIM let me know what to do with this.
Thanks,
Kemm

Whenever you have a question like this, the best way to get an answer is
to use Google. If you use "aim.exe" as a search term, you'll
immediately see that this is an AOL Instant Messenger executable. The
BHO means that there is a browser helper object installed along with
AIM. Normal behavior for AIM.
