possible attempt to compromise security

P

Peterm

I have XP clients connecting to a Win2K domain
controller. Everyone can log on fine. After a period of
time, some of the clients can no longer "see" the domain
controller server. They get the message: "The system
detected possible attempt to compromise security. Please
ensure that you can contact the server that authenticated
you".
They can still browse the internet. Everything is
patched up to date. From posts on other newsgroups I see
that other people have the same problem, but no real
answers.
Any ideas anyone?
An e-mail to peter.mannell(remove this bit in brackets)
@hotmail.com would be appreciated.
Thanx.
