Positioning switchboard

C

Cillies

I have created a series of forms to be used as switchboards.

I have several Databases which I have amalgamated into one database
with a master form allowing the user to select the appropriate
switchboard to deal with their search.

What I want to know is how, do I set the position of the form on the
screen so that when a secondary switchboard is opened it is in the
same position as the main switchboard.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

p.s.

Once a switchboard is selected from the main switchboard, the main
closes down and the screen only display's the selected item.

Also I have used the term switchboard in this message but really they
are only customized forms with command buttons. The switchboard
manager is not in use for my project.

See Help for information about MoveSize. Try 500, 1000 as the values and see
how it looks. It is possible to determine the measurement in twips, but
trial and error has a shorter learning curve.

Look up the MoveSize method in Access Help
Measurements are in Twips (1440 per inch).

DoCmd.MoveSize 2*1440, 3*1440

Will position the form 2 inches right from the left screen edge, and 3
inches down from the top.
