ports 1035 and 1044

ports 1035 and 1044 - my firewall is always alerting me that incoming
access attempts, to these two ports is being blocked.

What is #1044
dcutility 1044/tcp Dev Consortium Utility
dcutility 1044/udp Dev Consortium Utility

and #1035
mxxrlogin 1035/tcp MX-XR RPC
mxxrlogin 1035/udp MX-XR RPC

?

I suspect that I'm "strangling" a legitimate program, on my machine, with
"program internet access controls'," for want of a better expression.

....any thoughts appreciated
