Porting a vb.net project from Windows Mobile 5.0 to XP Embedded

Does anyone have experience with porting vb.net from Mobile 5.0 to XP
Embedded?

My main concern is my project uses SQLCE for local database storage.
I want to port it to the easiest equivalent in the XP Embedded
environment.

Any suggestions appreciated.
 
It might be worth considering porting the app to Compact SQL on CE first.
Then port the app to XPe.
