Port security

How can I close all ports to show as stealthed? I did a security scan at
Symantec and found that ports ICMP, 23 and 80 were open. The rest of the
ports were stealthed.

If you performed this from a computer that's running a telnet server and a
web server, then these are the results I'd expect.

Or if you did this from a Windows XP computer behind a SOHO firewall
(Linksys, D-Link, Netgear), then it's really the firewall that's getting
scanned, and again I'd expect this result -- many SOHO firewalls are by
default listening on these ports for remote administration.
