port router?

The port(s) you need to open depend on what service(s) you need to enable.
For example, ports 135 through 139 and 445 are used by File and Printer
Sharing; port 3389 is used by Remote Desktop connection. Most applications
(like games) will tell you if they need specific ports opened to work
correctly.

I set up a network,PC is connected to the router with a cable,another laptop
wireless.Everything is fine.PC has a firewall( trend micro)-I'd like to add
the routers IP to the exception list,which is no problem.But it askes me
which port to open for the router to work properly.How do I find out the
port# of the router?Any help would be very much appreciated.
