I am using Outlook 2002 and I get a popup message window when I try to send
create a new message as follows:

A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?

If this is unexpected it may be a virus & you should choose "No".

Then it has a checkbox for you to check and a time limit to allow acces for,
an OK button, a NO button, and a HELP button.

I always answer no.

It is annoying to have to see this and answer no everytime I need to create
a new e-mail message.

I run a virus sweep every Friday and have not gotten any.

Is there any way to get rid of this popup window?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Curt

H Curt,
it is not a virus, a normal security warning by outlook please take a look

I'm having the same problem with the popup, and the link no longer works.
Can you please share with me what the solution was.
Thank you,
Rhonda Marko

Hi,

I never did resolve the problem. I have since upgraded to Office 2003 Pro
and I no longer have this problem.

In many cases, the problem is having the PDFMaker add-in that is part of
Adobe Acrobat installed.

You may be correct because it just started happening on another computer in
the office to which we just added PDF.
Thank you,
Rhonda

Use Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs to configure Acrobat to remove the
PDFMaker add-in.
