Populated textbox into a table

How do I insert a text box value from a calculated field into a table. Here
an example.

I have a table with 3 fields.
1. ID,
2. Current _Date
3. Updated_date.

So In a form I have 3 text boxes,
The first text box is for the ID field (txtID) where user enter the ID #,
The second text box is for the current date field (txtCurrentDate) where the
user will enter a date, and
The third text box (txtUpdateDate) will calculate the End of month date by
using this formula: DateSerial(Year(current_Date), Month(current_Date) + 1,
0), the question is how to I get this last field to update to the table
Update_date field? The control source property in this text box is already
taken by the DateSerial(Year(current_Date), Month(current_Date) + 1, 0)
formula, so how do I get this to update back to the table. Please help.

You don't. If you are able to calculate it from data in the table, then it
would be redundant to save it. When you need it, simply calculate it in
your forms, reports, or queries.

Here is some text from one of the many many previous requests about storing
a calculated value...

------------------------
Storing derived data such as this in your table accomplishes three things:
it wastes disk space; it wastes time (almost any calculation will be MUCH
faster than a disk fetch); and most importantly, it risks data corruption.
If one of the underlying fields is subsequently edited, you will have data
in your table WHICH IS WRONG, and no automatic way to detect that fact.

Just redo the calculation whenever you need it, either as a calculated field
in a Query or just as you're now doing it -in the control source of a Form
or a Report textbox.
