Populate Dynamic Drop Down Menu

I am new to prgraming webpages, so I apologize if this is overly simple. I
need to build a dynamic drop down menu in Frontpage that will allow users to
pick a category in the first box, then the second pull down populates based
on the choice selected in the first menu. Then the third pull down populates
based on the choice in the second box. Boxes two and three are optional. The
problem I have is the data is in a spreadsheet and I can not find anything to
tell me how to pull the data from the spreadsheet. Column A of the
spreadsheet is used in pull down box 1, column B is used for pull down box 2,
...etc...

If you are reading from a text file, you probably need to use some type of
server side scripting.
