Pop ups and default home page

When I log on the Explorer I get poro pop ups and my home
page is replaced by "default-homepage-
network.com/index2.html" I then get a message that tells
me I need to download "spyware" immediately because my
computer is being compromised. I don't know how this
happened and I don't know if I should download "spyware"
or how to get out of this mess.

Any suggestions?
 
This newsgroup is devoted to security issues concerning MS Access, the
database product. You would probably be better off asking this in a
newsgroup devoted to Internet Explorer.
