Hi,

I got this message in the status bar "a pop-up window was blocked" after
clicking on some links. I assume that there's some program background
process/program that prevent pop-up windows but I have trouble finding it in
the Task Manager. Please help!
 
There is nothing native to XP that blocks popups. You had to install it or
it came installed on your computer. Check add/remove programs or start, all
programs to find the name of it and how to use it.

Using what browser? Is XP SP2 release candidate installed?
 
Did you just recently install XP SP2 RC1? You will need to read the
documentation and read it well if you did. MS has made a lot of changes to
XP adn yes, it has a popup blocker built in now.
