pop up message

Hello,
I'm running 3 servers with Win2k Server and Office XP(sp3) installed.
On one of the servers, when users try to create or reply to mail, the
are getting a message that "another program is trying to access emai
addresses that you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexpected, this may be a virus and you should choose NO."
If they choose YES, then for as long as Outlook remains open, they ca
create or reply without the message popping up, but if they choose NO
then it pops up each time they create or reply.
-I ran a virus scan and nothing came up.
-The last change I made to the servers was installing SP3 fo
OfficeXP.
-The weird things is, on the error server, when Outlook opens, it say
this product is licensed to "username", but on the other two servers
it says this product is licensed to "adminname".
Does anyone know:
1)Why this message pops up?
2)What program is trying to access the email addresses?
3)How I can make it so that Outlook uses the same default file that i
apparently is using on the other two servers, so it opens on the erro
server as product is licensed to "Adminname" instead of "username"?
Thanks,
T

TJ, I don't have an answer to all your questions but I do know that thi
"security feature" came as part of the SP3 sevice pack and you can no
get rid of it. There is a work around that has been created whic
automatically clicks the yes button so you don't have to keep doing i
manually every time you want to read or rpely to a message. You ca
find it at url: http://www.express-soft.com/mailmate/clickyes.html

I installed it on Saturday and it works pretty well. There is mor
info on the microsoft site some of which I've included below.

Accessing Address Books and Recipients
If a program tries to reference any type of recipient information b
using the Outlook object model, a dialog box is displayed that asks yo
to confirm access to this information. You can allow access to th
Address Book or recipient information for up to ten minutes after yo
receive the dialog box. This allows features, such as mobile devic
synchronization, to be completed. If you decide not to allow access t
your Address Book or recipient information, you receive the E_FAI
return code for all of these messages in the C or C++ programmin
languages.

I am getting the same message that you did and it started immediately after SP3 installation. Do you have any fix yet

Thanks.
