pop up message "Enter network password" - how do I stop this?

Since setting up Outlook 2003, I continue to get a message that keeps
appearing on my screen that is titled “Enter Network Passwordâ€, with a
message that says “Please type your user name and password†and has fields
for server, user name, password, and an option to “Save this password in your
password listâ€.

How do I get rid of this irritating message that keeps coming up while I am
using Outlook e-mail? I can not seem to find a fix for this in Outlook Help.

There is a setting for frequency of checking for new mail, i set mine for 6
minutes and it seems to have stopped the message. I was set at checking every
minute.
go to tools, options, mail setup, send and recieve then change the times
