"pop.svc.telus.net." I get this in a bottom right corner gradual pop up
when I click on Send/Recv on my net book with XP and OE--then when I
got home, it worked fine. I am writing this on my desktop at home with
Vista/WinMail.

Will there be an incompatability problem with AcerNetBook/XP/OE on the road
and AcerDeskTop/Vista/WinMail at home?

If both computers are checking the same email account, whichever
one completes its email download first will make those emails
unavailable to the second PC. To fix that problem, go to Tools,
Accounts, select your mail account, Properties, Advanced,
select "Leave a copy of messages on server."

Repeat the above on the second computer.
