Poor application graphics on terminal services

We are using a delfi application on a terminal server.
When we open a new window the background graphics go
psychedelic you minimize the window and the background is
back to normal. Any suggestions will be greatly
appreciated

that is called "color blossoming". It is a side effect of
using a limited color palette, like 256 colors, and
unfortunately, is unavoidable. If you need more colors,
then take a look at Windows 2003 Server or Citrix
MetaFrame, both give you higher color options.
