I have a polygon of Texas and I need to delete about half of the points on
it to make a logo,
can anyone tell me if there is a way to select multiple points so that I can
delete a lot of points
at the same time.

Thanks,
Art

AFAIK you can delete only one polygon point at a time. But if you hold the
Ctrl-key and click on a point, it will be deleted (the mouse pointer will
look like an "X").

Kind regards,

You can edit the Texas polygon in another program, such as CorelDraw.
Freehand, or Illustrator, and then bring it back into PowerPoint.

CorelDraw allows you to select multiple points, or trim off a portion
of the polygon using a masking shape.

Best wishes,
