Policies prevent installation

I'm trying to install mappoint and I get the message "the
system administrator has set policies to prevent this
installation." How and what can I change to allow the
installation? I AM the administrator!)

Hmm. Probably need to contact yourself and resolve who's the boss. Or look
in the group policy setting preventing software installs.

Sorry Irwin, just felt like posting this. After all, you didn't tell us even
the OS type and domain type, and there are several settings which may affect
install ability.
