We've just bought a new PC with Windows Vista. My pocket PC (A toshiba Pocket
PC e350 running Pocket PC version 3.0.11171) ran fine with my old PC that
used Windows XP. The new PC, with Windows Vista, rcosgnises the device and
has the up to date driver, and I've downloaded the Windows Mobile Centre for
Vista from microsoft, but I can't get it to recognise my Pockt PC to
synchronise with Outlook. What should I do?

Is it equipped with Windows Mobile 2003? Then the device is supported on
Windows Vista. To what extend, I don't know and that is off-topic for this
newsgroup. Better ask in the pocketpc.activesync newsgroup.

Thanks for the tip - I'll ask in the PocketPC newsgroup. My Pocket PC isn't
equipped with Windows Mobile 2003. Is this something I can install on my
pocket PC?

WindowsCE 3.0.11171 is PocketPC 2002. However, you said your device is a
Toshiba E350. That device is documented to run Windows Mobile 2003, which
is WindowsCE V4.2. If you do have PocketPC 2002, WMDC may or may not work.

Only if Toshiba released new ROMs for your device.
