pocket pc and access

can anyone advise me as to which pocket pc would be the
most suitable for my needs. Most of my work is with Access
2000, I just need to be a bit more mobile these days. I
need the ability to update, change on the pocket pc an
obviously to transfer to desktop. Any good advice out
there.

Thanks,
AC

It really depends on how much you want to spend. The HP
products are really good. They run on a Windows CE
platform and have the bluetooth technology. They run for
around $300-350 in Canada. I've heard good things about
them. One of these devices will satisfy your Access
needs as well as thousands of others.

I hope this helps.

Pocket Access is a misnomer as it never ran on a PocketPC. It ran on a
HandheldPC (which has an entirely different OS). I'm not to sure if it is
even being made any more.

The good news is that there are several ways you can update an Access
database from a PocketPC.

1. If your need is to update a single table, you can use Pocket Excel and
import the data from Excel to Access on your PC.

2. If your need more database power, I'd suggest a pocket database that can
sync with Access. The one I use from my Dell Axim is HanDBase:
