Plus Sign For Positive Numbers

Is there a way, in a report, to display positive number values (from an
underlying number field in the source table) with a plus sign, just as
negative numbers are? ...I'm sure there's a simple answer to this
question.

Try setting the Format property of the text box on the report.

Perhaps something like this:
+#,##0.00;-#,##0.00;0.00
