Plug into network and whole internet connection is down

Goodday. I am using WinXP Pro on my notebook. Once I am connected to my
office LAN network, the internet connection is down (means all the computer
cannot access to internet). After I unplugged from the LAN, the internet is
back to normal. Please help!!! thanks for your time and cheers.

More info needed. How does everyone access the Internet now? What's running
on your notebook, and are you 100% sure it's clean of viruses? Do you use
DHCP on your network?
