Plug and play devices not working after sysprep

Hello,

I hope someone can help with this problem because it's driving me insane.

I have a bunch of Dell Optiplexes that I need to deploy. Booting the
computer right out of the box, all devices I plug in are automatically
detected and work just fine.

However, after I do a sysprep, create my ghost image, and deploy it to a 2nd
computer (same model and stats), the devices are no longer automatically
detected. If I go into Device Manager, I see that the device is listed, but
needs the driver installed.

What is sysprep doing to kill this functionality? Is there any way I can fix
this? Manually installing drivers for simple peripherals like a keyboard and
mouse is ridiculous.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
-Joe

OK, looks like the keyboard and mouse problem has been fixed. I'm still
noticing this problem when working with PCMCIA devices on some Latitude
notebooks, though. Could this be because there were no PCMCIA devices present
during the initial creation of the image?
