Hello,
I hope someone can help with this problem because it's driving me insane.
I have a bunch of Dell Optiplexes that I need to deploy. Booting the
computer right out of the box, all devices I plug in are automatically
detected and work just fine.
However, after I do a sysprep, create my ghost image, and deploy it to a 2nd
computer (same model and stats), the devices are no longer automatically
detected. If I go into Device Manager, I see that the device is listed, but
needs the driver installed.
What is sysprep doing to kill this functionality? Is there any way I can fix
this? Manually installing drivers for simple peripherals like a keyboard and
mouse is ridiculous.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
-Joe
