Hi Steve
the "dozen" titles mean a shit about your qualification.
The only thing that counts is what you can do in real
life and your "reputation" and your "references" you
can show. I love people showing-off with their titles.
I am a software developer/architect, developing every
day for windows and linux systems, in languages like
Assembler, C/C++/C#, Java, Perl, Python, Ruby, VisualStudio,
..NET, or whatever language and problem comes, even AI
with Scheme and Haskell, etc,...working on Drivers for
Kernel Mode, developing Hardware from the scratch
extending Microsoft Servers and Lnux Systems, what the
hell else,...endless code and work,....but i dont even have
a SINGLE certificate,...because they are worthless. I saw
people comming from university with BIG FAT diplomas,
summa cum laude, not beeing able to write a single line
of code. I saw MCSE, not being able to create a user, i swear
to god! MCDBAs not able to backup Sequel Servers. MCP,
MCSAs event not able to install windows on a plain system, i
am not kidding! This is so lame, so damn poor,...
The only people i respect are the MVPs, thats what you cant
buy with money you have to deserve it!
Dear Boro Causev, please dont take this the wrong way,
i am certain that you payed a lot of money and time for
your certificates and they are worth every penny, when it
comes i finding a job,...nothing against you buddy, just my
experinces i got over the years!
Regards
Kerem
