Please indicate a tool to erase double contacts in Outlook databe

After an unfortunate update of my outlook.pst file (merge of 2 file on
different computers) I have a lot (more than 7000 double contacts). Outlook
should give a tool to erase those. Or the help should incidate how to
proceed. This would be useful...

There are a lot of duplicate items removers. Some of them are listed here;

The one from MAPILab is a 30 day fully functional trial IIRC but will only
remove 10 duplicates at a time

When merging through an import it's always a good practise to make a backup
first so you can revert back to the old situation when the import goes
wrong.
