please help

i'm curious how to set my internet explorer browser so it
does not provide options every time i start typing in a
web site location....for example...as i begin to type in
www.yahoo.com it begins to list www. y...sites and www.
ya...sites and so forth....i'm sure you all know what i'm
talking about....i'm simply curious how to remove it or
reset it....i was looking for it in some sort of
preferences menu but couldn't find it...thank you

This feature is called Autocomplete.

Go to support.microsoft.com and search on Autocomplete. Here is a sample
