I installed and tested AnalogX recently and followed the product's
instructions for setting up POP3 and SMTP proxies. I was able to send
E-mail from another computer, but I wasn't able to receive E-mail on
another computer, even with the recommended settings.

Click the proxy server's "Configure Email Alias's" button to configure
POP3 and SMTP. On the other computers, use the proxy server's LAN IP
address for the POP3 and SMTP server addresses. For details, open the
"proxy.txt" file in the folder where AnalogX is installed and see the
"Configuring Email" section.

Can you use a different computer to connect to the Internet? Windows
XP and Me have an Internet Connection Sharing feature that's much
easier to use and more secure than a proxy server.
