Dear Sir,

I am facing critical problem in my win2k network.
when i try to connect to other system error is
" Server is not configured for transactions"
even administrative shares also disabled.

That could be an indication of a virus so be sure to do a thorough scan of the
computer that you are trying to connect to that gives that error from the client
side. That does no mean it is infected however. Two things to try are to use the
command [ net share IPC$ ] or uninstall and reinstall file and print sharing on that
computer and make sure the server service is running. Also look in Event Viewer for
any errors that may help pinpoint the problem. --- Steve

Is the server service started on the machine?
