ok, here is the problem. I am creating a research paper for a computer class
and the class is online. So, as i am going through the steps as indicated
and instructed, once i get to a point(all of this is on word) I suppose to
go to reference tab, click Bibliography style and then choose MLA in the
bibliography style gallery. The problem is those areas are not highlighted
and beside style, it says missing, and i cant access that or anything in that
one particular box. PLEASE HELP>

It means something went wrong during the installation of Word and the
style files are missing. You can verify this by checking if you have a
directory <Word 2007 directory>\Bibliography\Style containing a bunch
of .XSL files. If you don't have the directory, or it is empty, then
something is amiss. Having those does not mean that nothing is wrong
though.

You might want to try to reinstall (not repair) Office 2007.

An awful lot of people have reported this same problem.
