Please help me..

I have a PC which is installed window 2000 adv server.

I have a problem now...

My pc always hanged after the colorful window standby interface shown...
and the harddisk led is always on, as well as the dvd-rom led..

In somedays before, I discover that this problem occur often, and I can
solved it
by turn off my PC, and wait for a mintnus or longer, than turn on again.
If I turn off and turn on it again within 30 seconds, the PC will have this
problem, too.

What is the problem? and I can I solve it? I have a lot of important data
inside...

Please help... thx...

p.s.
My PC is 24 x 7 turn on
I have installed Oracle 9i recently (but I remember this problem occured
before I install oracle)

Vitamin,

I am not certain of the root cause of your problem, but see if the following
will resolve this issue:

1. Go to a command prompt on the problem server and run "sfc /scannow".
This will cause your system file checker program to scan all of your
protected system files. It will replace incorrect versions with correct
Microsoft versions.

2. You can also try reapplying your most recent service pack or, if you are
on an older service pack, try installing the latest service pack.

3. If these do not help, you might want to run some kind of diagnostic tool
on the motherboard in case you have a hardware problem. You can contact
your motherboard vendor for that type of utility.
