please help internet explorer wont let me search in add bar

Hi hope some one can help me, just had new laptop came
with op pre installed xp pro,i have all the updates, and
when i try search in my internet explorer add bar it
comes up with http:///? aromatherapy i have tried
everything i can think of, maybe someone else with sum
brains is willing to help.I have zonelab pro installed
spysweeper and reg cleaner have turned all of them of to
see if it is them but guess what.. it's not them, i can
search in my bt home page but i like the BIG BLUE E!!

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
