Please help. I can find no answer

I am so sorry to bother you with my problem but I am pulling my hair out
and can't think of anywhere else to turn.

When I view my charity site - http://www.orangutan-appeal.org.uk/ in a new
IE6 page and choose any of the menu items on the left frame, I lose the
frame
and the new page is displayed without the menu. Now, if I visit my site by
following the link on our sister site - http://www.orangutang-appeal.dk/
(our link is top on the links page), a new IE6 window opens and I have no
problems with my menu frame.

If the above makes sense to anyone can they please please tell me what the
bloody hell is going on or point out any errors in the way I have set this
up.

Thanks.

Paul, I see the site perfectly using both methods so no problem with the
HTML... however you have that counter thing which is a redirect to a
different domain....

Tools>internet options>security>internet zone>custom and try enabling
"Navigate Sub Frames across different domains.

Or simply add the site to your trusted zone and see if that helps because
the default for "Trusted" probably allows it.

Not sure this is the problem but I know if I pop it into my restricted zone
that kills it.

Hint, the link below might be useful to you.. the last one is a very neat
utility.

Couldn't duplicate that so none the wiser. Sorry. So if you got to the BBC
page then type or paste your site into the address box and hit go subsequent
links from the left frame don't work properly, right?

It works okay for me, no problem (IE6 non-SP1, NS 4.79 and NS7). However, I
*did* see one error in the HTML of side.htm. The <base href> should be inside
the <head></head> tags.

HTH!

That's correct. I have found that if I disable JavaScript then all works ok
but I don't know where that leaves me.

Thanks for your help by the way.

Unless there is something wrong with your scripting engine and the BBC site
is "Starting" something that cannot get finished I have no ideas then,
sorry. This does sound like one of the more obscure faults. With so many
patches it is possible I guess that this machine has one extra or one less
than the others and maybe that makes you something of a "Rare" case when
combined with the BBC and Orangs <g>

Still, at least we found a sort of solution for you personally.
