Some Smart Person:-

This is so annoying, and can happen up to 10 times a day!

There must be some fix for this, I do have FAT32 on my C drive and NTFS on
my D drive, but this shouldn't make any difference I imagine?.
Sometimes this checking program finds no problems some times it does, and
fixes them, but sometimes 10 minutes later it will just reboot my system and
start the checking again!. As you can imagine most annoying and time
consuming.

Much Appreciated

Having various drives in a computer formatted in different file systems
makes no difference. It sounds like your hard drive is failing.
Download a diagnostic utility from the drive mftr. Make a bootable
floppy with it, boot to the utility, and run a thorough test. If the
drive has errors, replace it.
