PLEASE HELP ASAP service pack 2

Yesterday i updated to the new service pack. as soon as
it was finished installing, i restarted my computer as i
was prompted. My computer never started back up,
everytime i try to turn it on it will get as far as the
loading windows xp page and then will restart. Please
Help!!!!!!!!
 
After you install Windows XP Service Pack 2, your computer restarts continuously

Thanks Carey but my computer will not even boot up in
safe mode.pressing F8 doesnt do anything, i have to
disconnect power to my pc while it is on in order to even
bring up the safe mode menu, and when i chose any option
of safe mode i get a bunch of command prompts and then it
just restarts. PLease Help!!!!

P4, Prescott PC?

Disable L1/L2 caching in the BIOS, the PC will Start. Remove SP2. Reboot PC
into Bios and re-enable Ll/L2 caching. Sit back and wait for a fix.

And please post make and model of motherboard. Thanks.
